Sally Kettle

I’m the first woman to row the Atlantic Ocean twice from East to West – once with my mother. I’ve faced hurricanes, shark attacks, broken body parts, and more than a few moments when turning back would have been the easier option.
Today, I’m CEO of The Active Pregnancy Foundation, Deputy Chief Guide of Girlguiding, a keynote speaker, facilitator and qualified coach and mentor.
I speak, lead and coach on what it takes to navigate uncertainty, overcome challenges and do things that feel bigger than you.
My stories are about resilience, leadership, courage and the wonderfully messy business of being human. I tell them with honesty and humour, and turn the lessons from a life of adventure and leadership into practical ideas that people can actually use.
Whether I’m speaking to a room of 1,000 people, facilitating a leadership team or coaching someone one-to-one, my aim is the same: to help people see what they’re capable of, challenge the stories that hold them back and find the confidence to take the next step.
