Sally begins new senior volunteer role in Girlguiding
It has been announced that Sally will take on a new role as Deputy Chief Guide - supporting the work of Girlguiding, the UK’s largest youth organisation dedicated to girls.
Sally has been a Brownie, Guide and Young Leader, and now runs a Rainbows unit in her home town. She knows what a difference the organisation can make to the lives of young women and girls, so to take a place on the leadership team is proving to be life changing.
The role is voluntary, which means she'll have to work it around other commitments, so it’s going to be an interesting five years. But, as they say in Guiding, she'll do her best.
