The Humpback Super Highway
There are some trips you take because you want to see something extraordinary, and there are others that remind you why you need extraordinary things in your life in the first place. My ten days in Mozambique managed to do both. There were humpback whales, stand-up paddleboarding, sand dunes, seahorses and dancing harlequin shrimp ... but there was also a lesson in conservation that turned out to be about rather more than the creatures we had travelled to see.
